Irish Mythology. Leprechauns are the most famous of our fairies but the image that people have of the Leprechaun is not true. He is actually the ‘Con-Man’ of the Irish fairy world. We look at him and many of his lesser known relatives. We also take a look at William Butler Yeats who was a famous Irish Writer who believed in the fairy world and also tried regularly to contact the dead. We will try to get the students to help us contact the spirit of W.B. Yeats using a Seance just as Yeats himself would have done. Combine all this with plenty of music and interaction. A great time in store.
We have introduced a new show aimed at the youngest students who are at the very beginning of their journey with the English language. Studies have shown the benefit of exposing children as early as possible to a new language which helps them develop in their formative years. Incorporating song, dance, Irish language and Irish accents as well as an introduction to some Irish literature, the experience is designed to make the students walk away happy and give a boost to their confidence after listening to an hour of English.
