One of the more entertaining pieces that we like to bring on the road. Talking Globish looks at the role that English plays as the Global language and how “Easy” English is to learn. We also look at Ireland’s role in this Global community that we have created. Home to the European headquarters of so many international corporations. And just in case any of the students are planning to move to Ireland to work for one of these corporations, we prepare you for your move with a feast of Irish culture ranging from theatre and dance to music. And most importantly, we teach you how to speak like an Irish person.
The submarine. The first successful submarine was built by the American military but was originally designed by a man named J.P. Holland. The Unknown Irish look at a series of Irish people that people may not have known were Irish. Inventors, poets, musicians and of course writers. We take a fun look at the works like Dracula, Gullivers Travels and the Chronicles of Narnia. A celebration of genius done the WSTT way.
We have introduced a new show aimed at the youngest students who are at the very beginning of their journey with the English language. Studies have shown the benefit of exposing children as early as possible to a new language which helps them develop in their formative years. Incorporating song, dance, Irish language and Irish accents as well as an introduction to some Irish literature, the experience is designed to make the students walk away happy and give a boost to their confidence after listening to an hour of English.
A Wilde Night is a fusion of Irish Music and Culture. Looking at great Irish literary figures, looking at our rich culture and of course plenty of Irish music and singing. Adaptable for groups with English abilities of varying levels. A perfect introduction to Irish culture from the locals.
